The 2016 introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro was a complete overhaul. The Chevy Camaro hasn't changed much since its introduction in 2016. A ZL1 1LE trim is now available with an automatic transmission. However, it is not all good news.

Trimming LT1

Only the ZL1 trims and SS trims can be ordered with the 1LE package.


Trim ZL1

The 2017 Chicago Auto Show saw the introduction of the Chevy Camaro's Redline Edition package. This package was removed for the 2019 model-year changeover. However, it was reinstated for 2020. This trim package is now available on all Camaro trims, even the base model. The production of 2022 Camaro has begun at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Lansing.
